Help: specializing in O&G

Hi All, I am a generalist, but have recently been assigned as an OO&G specialist.

As i have no prior experience in this industry, I was wondering if any of you could point me to resources that would: 1. Help kickstart my baby steps in this industry (maybe value chain wise, technicals/fundamental knowledge) 2. Help further my knowledge in this industry

I would ideally like to do this before diving into reports.

Thank you all for the help

Do you have anywhere specific that you’re looking to start with? If you can narrow it down then I’d be happy to give a more focused answer otherwise O&G is massive.

Google deutshe bank energy primer pdf, that’s a great place to start and get a good understanding of the value chain and the lifecycle of a well.

Edit: found it. https://www.wallstreetoasis.com/forums/starting-at-energy-ib-at-bb-in-3…</a">Link Follow the link and look at the top post and then click on the link in my post which has a link to the DB primer, plus some other stuff to research re: valuation. Definitely got some threadception here lol
