Tough to say - those shops typically pay slightly below market, at least in base from the NY salary bands I came across.

I received an offer from one of the shops you mentioned above to cover biotech and they offered me ~125k base, but there was basically no negotiating room (base and bonus structure) - and apparently they were being generous with me.

I'd peg a reasonable base salary band at $90-110k especially given non-NY location, but think it's reasonable to ask for your previous base salary at the minimum.

If it helps, I have an advanced degree and MBA.
