Curious as to how people without access to BBG/Refinitiv get a hold of initiating coverage research reports. Is it mainly through friends/contacts at IBs? Or is there an affordable subscription service that non-institutional investors can access?

Friends / contacts kinda sum it up. Also I am not sure how initiation reports are any more helpful than just reading the S-1.
