Intensely Focused News Sources(??)
I recently started a new role as an investment analyst and I like to read the news in the morning and keep up with things as the day goes on. Of course I read all the broad range papers-of-record like NYT, WSJ, and FT. But I find myself frustrated that these articles only cover superficial aspects or the largest companies in an industry.
I’m wondering if there are any sector or theme-specific news sites, blogs, etc. that you specialists really like that keep you updated on industry developments and ongoing events. Our coverage is global though mostly North America, South America, and Europe.
TL:DR Looking for news covering industry or theme-specific events and developments. The more technical, detailed, or “in-the-weeds” the better.
