Left medschool to do biotech ER how to move to the Buyside
Hey guys,
My goal for joining ER was to jump to a HF. I left medical school half way (passed step 1 if that matters and did well). How do I proceed to moving to an investing role? Am I screwed with no MD?
I’ve seen and heard both but haven’t gotten much traction. Been in this seat for a year now.
Recruiting is really slow right now. Single-manager biotech funds have done terribly the past few years and there have been at least half a dozen pod blow ups in the past 2 months.
