List of good Research Depts in Specific Coverage?

I may be making a move over into research, specifically in alternative energy.

I am looking at Piper Jaffray as I know their senior analyst relatively well.

What other firms are strong in this emerging market?

thanks in advance!

Why does no one answer my serious questions?

You people only respond when I describe the sexual habits of women in engineering......

Not sure it this would help but make a list of 10 alternative energy securities that you follow.

Go to Yahoo Finance and look up the analyst coverage on them.

Make a list of those analysts and research those banks.

for research related inquiries you might want to check out analystforum.com

there are a couple of guys covering energy on SS and buy-side there...not myself but worth having a look

ah, yes, would be nice to generate more research/hedge fund traffic here, too...that said, my post was not intended to steer people away from this forum, but just to let others know there is a resource out there dedicated to securities analysis, with good information in the archives (easily searchable)
