Hey everyone, sorry this isn't Wall Street stuff... but I was wondering if anyone with knowledge of the HK market can comment about Macquarie's Equity Research in HK?
Also, can anyone provide any input regarding Goldman's ECM group in HK?
I'm most curious about whether someone from the US planning to work at one of these houses in HK will get a good experience if he decides to move on to the buyside (asset managemet, hedgie, etc) and whether these places are great to work at in general (ie: I think Macquarie is quite known for infrastructure, but I'm actually curious about their telecom coverage in HK... is it reputable, are the analysts helpful, outlook, etc). Any specifics would be awesome!
