What the fundamentals that drives the technology industry? In other words, what are the micro- and macro-economic factors? By technology, I mean computer software and hardware. Let's assume any of the emerging economies that export technology.
How does the industry make money?
If you have access to a bloomberg terminal (at school/work) use the "BI" function. It's very helpful for getting a broad understanding of different industries.
