Moving from a MM firm to Truist?
Hey all - currently doing ER at a MM firm - think Cowen, KBW, Piper, Cantor.
Considering a move to Truist in a more senior seat.
Any thoughts on this?
Truist doesn’t not have the ER reputation (atleast I believe), so I am a bit nervous to make the potential move.
Comp would be substantially more than I am making in my current seat.
Is this suicide or is this a vertical move. Thoughts?
Edit: unsure why the spacing after the word “truist” is coming in strangely, so apologies.
Seems like a win on surface.
Slightly more reputable firm, more senior role, and better comp.
Unclear what downside is based on available info.
Thanks a lot - I was more concerned about the reputation of Truist within ER.
Happy to hear it’s more reputable in your opinion.
Depends on the industry but I think overall Truist has better recognition than the ones you listed.
Thanks for the insight!
Sort of depends on the analyst there. But going from one MM to another for better pay seems like a solid deal to me
Thank you! Just was unsure about Truists reputation within ER.
may i ask your sector?
