Moving from [see comment] to ER - am I crazy?

Have around 4 years experience in private direct investments. All I really care about, though, is public markets. It's the first thing I look at when I wake up, the last thing I do before I go to sleep, and all I think about all day.

Currently interviewing with a couple MM's but don't have high expectations. Thought ER may be a more realistic starting point to aim for. Any advice/feedback would be greatly appreciated!
