Pharma and Healthcare Industry/Equity Analyst
I have been working as a hospital pharmacist for over 10 years. Prior to that, I worked in retail pharmacy for about 10 years. I have an MBA (that my employer paid for). I want to learn more about becoming a credible equity analyst in Healthcare and Pharma. I favor micro cap and small private companies. I am open to input and feedback. Please don't hesitate to share your ideas with me.
I say a science background isn't all that useful for healthcare/large cap pharma (different for biotech). Your MBA will help. ER recruiting is very unstructured so your best bet is to cold email associates/analyst via LinkedIn and set up informational interviews.
