Please advice which is a better career choice.
I have right now two offers in hand. One is financial accounting transformation IT role in one of Big4s and the other is Sell Side Equity Research in a small firm.
Which one should I choose?
Depends on your career goals and where you want to be in 5-10 years. I personally would take the Equity Research gig even if it is at a small boutique because I have no interest whatsoever in accounting and I find ER pretty interesting. However, you might not feel the same way, so really think about what you really like.
