Proper Modeling for valuation

Hey guys, I'm trying to do my own equity research/pitches and able to do the basis of it but getting stuck at the valuation aspect of the pitch. I use models for DCF,M&A,LBO from free video lessons via youtube and other resources but dont have a benchmark model that I can relate to, if my models are even accurate to what would be used within the industry. If anyone have a template that they've used and have confidence in it, I'd love the chance to get my hands on them (any excel models). Appreciate it fellas. Cheers
