Roles in cross-asset/macro research at Bloomberg, LSEG (Refinitiv), FactSet, etc?

Hi all. Was wondering if anybody knew anything about the macro/cross-asset research type roles at any the big financial data providers (Bloomberg, LSEG/FTSE Russell, FactSet, etc.). I’ve seen LSEG advertising roles for their Global Global Investment Research team and Bloomberg for their equivalent. Looks like most of the time they highlight key themes and write thematic research but don’t actually publish tradeable ideas? Would one of these roles be a good stepping stone towards writing cross-asset strategy at one of the banks? Any insights would be greatly appreciated.
