Senior Associate Comp
I know there are a lot of threads on comp but wondering if anyone has insight on senior associate pay (say 3-6 years of experience) at either a BB or or any other tier shops.
A lot of associates leave after a couple of years so the comp gets blurry and there aren’t many data points on it (especially after covid or salary bumps).
Any insights / discussion around it would be much appreciated!
Cheers!

150-200k base at BB. Bonus 25-50% of base.
This seems fair. BB offer was made to me, (2 yrs experience) for a senior associate, base was $150k, range for others are $150-175k base depending on experience. Base for typical associates was like 40k, but it could go like $30k-$50k (At 2-3 years experience). Also some lucky ppl have RSUs. Could push all in comp to like $200-250k annually.
Using NYC equivalents at BBs
Equity research senior associate salary in New York City - 150-190 base, depending on the shop 25-75% bonus (tech and biotech used to be on the high side).
