Specialty Pharma Equity Reseach
Looking for people's feedback on Specialty Pharma and Generics. Is Specialty Pharma more about policy/regulation stuff? I'd rather steer clear of groups where a lot of the research is based on what happens in Washington. Any comments would be great!
I work in spec pharma/generics for a BB and there is a ton of policy stuff you have to follow. Very different from a pure biotech research position. Caveat Emptor
Would you ever move to a pure biotech research position then? Did you start your job out of undergrad/summer internship?

Since the MOA is often well-understood for spec pharma and generics drugs, there's much less uncertainty with respect to the science than in biotech. It's focused more on the market opportunity, M&A, and forward-looking regulatory environment.
