I’m considering moving from NYC back home to the Chicagoland area but I don’t have a good feel for career opportunities. Currently a 2nd year analyst in equity sales at a BB. Looking for opportunities in Portfolio Management, Equity Research, or anything markets related. Banking/PE is out of the question and trying to avoid cutthroat hedge funds. Does anyone have a good experience or familiar with opportunities? I went to a target school and taking CFA level 2 if that counts for anything.
