Staring my own coverage vs buyside
Done a rotational scheme for a year (ECM, ER, Sales) and will move from London back to my home country to a regional bank where I'll start to have my own coverage (will take over some names first before iniating on IPO's of my firm). Here's a few things though.
1: have only startet FT in ER 6 months ago, not sure if J feel ready. But senior convinced me that he is well aware of my lack of experience
2: was wondering if Buyside is something I should try to break in. J understand the improvement in lifestyle but how does average comp look like? HF is not existing in my country due to regulations. So I'm mostly looking into Family offices and smaller Long-only funds.
