Starting an equity research business

I run a biotech consulting shop. I want to diversify our revenue streams and I thought of preparing company-specific reports that focus on clinical trials, market opportunity and competitive analysis. The information is obviously all public since I want to focus on publicly traded companies. Is that something institutional investors would be interested in? I had a marketplace model in mind with a price point of $750-1K per report.
