Title says it all. Recently have become more interested in ER. I have been browsing some ER forums and have read about potential fee compression as a result of MIFID, as well as some teams trimming their research staff size to keep it leaner. Curious what you all in the research world think about the industry in its current form, and what predictions/concerns (if any) are floating out there. Where do you see the industry in 5 yrs? 10?
