I'm looking to connect with NON-STUDENTS (meaning no current undergrad or MBA candidates) who are looking to move into Equity Research from other finance jobs, consulting, other industries, etc. Please feel free to share 1) where you're at in the process; 2) what has/hasn't worked in your search and with networking; 3) how you've been preparing for networking conversations and interviews (please specify if you have a finance background or not); 4) whatever else you'd like to share!

Took me about a year after graduation to find a research role. I was incredibly miserable in my first job postgrad. Keep trucking. It's worth it.
