Topic for an MSc thesis

Good morning everyone, I am currently finishing my MSc in Finance and have a few different ideas on what to do after: equity research, PE, M&A / corporate finance in some big (just in case, easiest choice). I want to do something different, not the old classic valuation of a company, so what do you suggest?

Thanks!

I'm not sure why someone would write a valuation as their final msc thesis., That seems more like undergrad stuff. Some business school professors, especially those without proper financial experience, project valuation as the opus magnum in financial theory - it is not.

If you are writing an msc thesis I would focus on the public markets and do an analysis for whatever economy you are based at. Topics such as post-earnings announcement drift, post-merger performance, information leakage or similar topics should be fairly straightforward to do.

I don't know... Yeah. Almost definitely yes.
