Can someone give me an opinion on UBS, GS and DB research?
How are they handling mifid2? We cant realistically see the dept at these banks get laid off totally?
The reason i ask is because apart from UBS the others dont necessarily do well in II.

I thinks UBS is better than the others..dont think DB can handle the storm coming their way
UBS moving to quant stuff (evidence lab), but has ok team. GS still good - they do not gun for II like every other bank. DB has some good analysts but it is DB.
If you hate having to deal with the inconvenience of a bonus, then DB is the way to go.
GS has absolutely no interest in pursuing II, which they are pretty straightforward about.
can you explain what is meant when you say 'pursuing II'?
