What formulas to use in a DCF?
Hi guys, seen several types of formulas being used to link in numbers from the P&L to the DCF-model. Which one is considered the most “advanced”, since I want to show of on my upcoming internship. Yes it’s true, lol

I'm sorry, can you try asking this again? I don't understand what you are asking, and you may want to do some more self study as most of this can be learned on your own (in more detail and more thoroughly) vs. getting answers on this forum.
Are you asking what is the most typical formula to get to UFCF from an operating model to run a DCF?
Haha this is kind of silly but what I'm asking about is basically if you just link cells in your UFCF model directly to e.g your IS (take revenue as an example). Or do you use some type of lookup formula or whatever instead of just linking it to the original cell?
Bankers tend to create templates for there DCFs and LBOs with formulas but friends of mine in research and AM don't care and just link it to the original cell with out any formula
