What Tasks Do Junior Equity Research Analysts Perform on the Buy-Side and Sell-Sides?

I'm trying to break into the profession and wanted to know if the job is really for me.

Earnings: prep models, update models, listen to earnings calls, throw together the note, deal with SAs, callbacks, more model updates, client calls, sales guys
Outside of earnings: work on initiations, industry deep dives, update and improve existing models, client calls, conferences, analyst days, planning events, react to random shit that pops up, read the news
Fudge numbers around to arrive at whatever multiple the bosses want you to in order to push their narrative
