Where do broker rating changes originate (primary sources)? How to access them with minimal latency?
I’m trying to understand the primary distribution path for analyst rating/price-target changes (upgrades/downgrades, initiations, reiterations).
Consistently see price react before Benzinga Pro / The Fly / StreetInsider push a headline.
Could ER folks share how rating changes are actually published and what the earliest touchpoints are? Which one usually shows the action first across MS/JPM/GS/UBS? Direct broker email to clients? Bloomberg B-pipe/terminal headline? Refinitiv feed?
