I like to consider myself stylish but pretty basic when it comes to work attire (ie. Bonobos pants, Charles Thyrwhitt shirts, Barbour coats, Peter Millar quarterzips). Would love to hear what people are wearing these days across the street and items that are worth investing.

Twillory and Bonobos for me. Both have cotton-poly blend shirts with significant stretch. Granted they are not as stretchy/comfy as the pure four-way stretch shirts, but the 4W shirts make me sweat more in the summer because they are typically a polyester-spandex blend (neither of which are breathable fabrics e.g. cotton). Thus I'm trying to balance breathability but still have meaningfully more stretch than pure cotton shirts.

Acknowledge that Twill quality is not the same as Mizzen Main MoS or Bon but they're also cheaper (~$100 instead of ~$130). Suppose it depends on what you are looking for + willing to shell out dollar-wise.

Suitsupply shirts, they're pricey but some of the Egyptian cotton blends are so comfortable and breathable. 

I actually have been loving J Crew for pants, I stay away from athletic materials and opt for cotton slacks. Real suit pants are too formal for my office environment so these are the right in-between. 

Also for shoes, I have a few pairs of Meermin loafers, they are so sleek, I find AE and other American brands to be too bulky and heavy.

Need to upgrade my bag, I just use my banker duffle like a tool but I just haven't found a laptop carrying case that I love.

 

Invested in a Tumi last year and I haven't regretted it at all. If you are more into tote style bags Sid Mashburn makes a great one. 

 

How are those Meermin loafers holding up? They are at a great price point and they look great.
