Can I wear a suit and tie?
I (super target: Harvard, Wharton, UNC) know the general gist of post-covid dress code leans more towards business casual with some sort of vest or quarter zip. With this is mind, will a suit and tie make me look like a goober? I really like ties, but don’t want to wear one if it could lead me to losing an FT offer to a quarter zip chad.
Lacks common sense but signs a SA offer
I made it more obvious for you

You can, you'll have to put up with the same stupid joke from everyone you see ("hope you didn't dress up for me") or have to explain it to everyone who asks if you have an interview later today.
I'd keep some at your desk and wear them when appropriate, but yes you'd look like a goober.
Dang. Went to a school equivalent to Harvard but can't come up with your own solution to this? Elite problem solvers the Harvards are admitting these days.
Ties are too integral to my aesthetic!
Then wear a tie. I'm sure more people will be impressed, rather than repulsed.
Pull up in hoodie, jeans and a fresh pair of Jordans
