I'm an incoming SA at one of the big 5. Do people know if I have to wear a suit everyday? Or is a dress shirt and dress pants alright?

RBC is a bit more formal, air on the side of suits. After that it’s more team dependent rather than bank. For example, BMO DIG is more relaxed with their dress code than some other BMO teams
