WTF is even the point of this question -- of course you need a bag, how do you expect to carry around your laptop? Just get a briefcase from Filson or Tumi and call it a day.

I’d advise against getting a bag. The key to a successful office romance and professional networking is for you to bump into them and drop any and all belongings that you were holding. When they help you pick them up you’re in poll position to get their number, exposure to better deals, or even mandates if you pull this off at the senior level.

I think carrying a laptop and dropping it will increase the returns from employing this strategy by increasing pity and confusion.

My fav is the Peak Design Everyday Messenger, very cool looking and functional, so is their backpack.

FYI, they make items with photographers in mind (my hobby), but you can remove the photography inserts as use as normal bags. They are really, really high quality and functional (like collapsible in size, adjustable).

Company duffle canvas bag doesn't work for putting laptop in, it's better for carrying gym clothing and shoes. How come I don't see other SA carry backpack and duffle bag? 

Maybe someone else has already said this or something similar, but go for the Ralph Lauren duffel bags if you want sturdiness. I've got the heritage, leather-trim, canvas one and it's my go-to both in the office and when travelling. 

Wtf kind of questions is this? It’s 2022 and kids who are allegedly smart enough to land banking gigs are also now so insecure they need to ask an online forum if they may “look gay” by carrying…a laptop bag. That’s right, a fucking bag - as in, for your work items.

I was told a long time ago never to wear a backpack with a suit because it makes you look ridiculous and like a school child. Get a leather bag, doesn’t have to match your shoes. If you need to bring gym gear get a little gym bag to throw in a top and towel.
