Hair color for non-white people

I'm an Asian girl who is actually from Asia and I was wondering what the range of acceptable hair color would be for people whose natural hair color is black.

Back where I'm from, your hair has to be black/dark brown for any office job and any colored hair is unacceptable in banking. I'm finding that to be very untrue in America, as I constantly see Asians with dyed hair. Obviously, you shouldn't go with an "unnatural" color like blue/pink/etc. but what about colors that would look natural on a white person but not on an Asian or a black person? For example, orange/ginger, blond, etc.

Just dye your hair white like the people you want to be - pm me your number and maybe we can discuss this in person/over mixed drinks.

You have a lot more to worry about than just your hair color... You're asain and a women trying to get into finance... Good luck getting respect.

Good luck getting respect? Jesus bro, you're a prospective trader not some 65 year old silver fox in the 80s, this comment makes you look foolish. When and if you break in, you'll realize there are Asian girls in the industry who will eat your fucking lunch.

I'm not saying OP is one of those girls, but good luck getting respect if that's the base assumption for every chick you meet in the industry.

Lots of judgement being passed in this thread. OP - dye your hair if you want, just don't do anything that will make you stand out (for the wrong reasons). Stay away from really drastic highlights or especially unnatural colors.

I think I worded my post wrong. If I were judging anyone it would be people with colored hair. I have black hair and I was wondering if I were to dye my hair, what colors would be acceptable, as hair colors other than black are certainly not acceptable in banking in my home country.

I was referring to other posters who were giving you crap for trying to look caucasian.

Right, that's the point. I'm trying NOT to look caucasian by not dying my hair.
