Holiday specials for slim shirts
I'm a pretty slim person (6'1 160lbs) and was wondering if anyone knows of any deals going on during black friday or the holidays. I would like to buy a "slim" shirt that doesn't look baggy and does not need tailoring.
And by cheap, I mean something along the lines of $10~$20 that would last me a year or so. I'm a student with a tight budget that needs a couple different shirts to hold me over until I get a job. I think I saw some at JC Penny, Kohls, or Macys, but wasn't too sure.

Go to Zara if you have one near you. You can find something for $30ish that is ok and if you end up liking that you can always get their more expensive ones eventually.
I honestly would recommend H&M. They have a line of dress shirts (THE ONE FOLDED, NOT HANGING) that are "slim cut" and actually very high quality for the price. They won't last forever, but they will look good while they are in use. They are $39 bucks, but its worth it.
Again, I am talking about the shirts that are folded with tissue paper, not any of the terrible shirts that are hanging up.

You're looking for good fitting dress shirts that will last you a year or so between 10 and 20 bucks? If you find any, let me know.
In all seriousness though you're going to have get lucky and go through the Macys/Dillards whatever clearance bin in all likelihood.

You can get out for $30.
At a minimum, make sure whatever you get is all cotton and only white/blue.
This is a job where white/blue and every single combo is perfectly acceptable. Don't buy purple, green, red, yellow, etc..
Greys are good, light pinks are ok

I know you can get a trial white shirt from Moderntailor.com for $20 + shipping to start, and they always have fabrics on sale for $30. These are custom-made, so you can make them as slim as you want, and from what I've read on styleforum.com, the shirts are pretty nice if you give them the right sizes.

I'm fairly certain that very few shirt at TJ Maxx and Marshalls are slim-fit, although you can dig through their ones folded up in plastic to see if you can find one.
Your best bet for getting some cheap slim-fits in a store is a department store like Macy's or Sears. If you only need them for a year of so before you start making some money, then they should work. You're most likely going to have to settle for store brands though.
Yeah I'm not too concerned with brand at this point so something from Macy's would do.
Do you mind if they are all white? If so, Paul Fredrick usually has an introductory deal where you can get 4 white shirts (any collar, any cuff) for $80 ($20/a shirt). Shirts aren't great but will last a year or so.
Brooks Brothers finally released extra slim fit non iron, 2 for $99. Still comes at nearly $60/shirt after tax and S&H.
