Is long hair frowned upon?

Hey everyone, grew out my pandemic hair during my internship and senior year this year and now have an absolutely banging flow that I love and really enjoy having. Training was virtual but start work in person on Monday. I really like my flow and my beard (slightly straggly, think something like James Franco around the mouth, mustache area but my sides grow in really well and is dense and connects/when I let it grow for a few months, I have attained a thick more normal looking beard).

Now that we are going in the office, I am faced with the prospect of potentially cutting both and I wanted to know what I should I do. My initial plan was to just keep my hair slicked back using an iron band and keep my beard nice and tight and consistently shaping it up. Would it be fine if I kept both or is it just too unprofessional

This is just my opinion but would not recommend keeping the beard unless it’s like a religious thing. Don’t think having the hair in an Alice band is going to pass either, would cut it to Roman Weidenfeller length at the very least.
