Rain/Winter Boots

I know that there are dozens of threads on this but I wanted more of a up-to-date opinion. I have one more year left until I start full-time and I will be doing an IB internship in a city that will experience rain and cold (probably 30 degrees Fahrenheit at its worst in the winter). I am looking for boots for the long term that are versatile, good for those conditions mentioned above, and look decent with a suit on when needed during commutes. I know about the LL Bean duck boot and I really like the price and the $30 warranty on the sole. Any one have any opinions on what kind of boots I should be looking for? ($100-$250 preferably)

Like you said Bean boots are great. Sorel, Hunter, UGG, HH will all have good options too and aren't crazy expensive.

Also take a look at Cole Haan they have a ton of weatherproof boots that will look better with a suit as well.

IMO boots are never OK in the office. Yes, I get it, they're out there in dressy styles and it's cold out. But no matter how nice they are, they always look goofy in an office setting. I would stick to traditional shoes, just maybe with winter (danite?) sole.

That's good and I assumed you'd be doing that with duck boots. But my response was pertaining to ALL boots, including the Cole Haans and AE that had been posted about. Boots simply do not belong in an office setting.
