Ticket Pocket?

Hey all, what are your thoughts on a ticket pocket on your suit? I recently got this suit from suit supply and was wondering if anyone really cares about the ticket pocket and if you feel I could wear it to an interview?

Tuck the flap in if it bothers you. I have suits with them and without them. Honestly prefer them. Good for putting keys or other “discrete” items in.

Agreed. I had some of my suit jackets add it and it serves look and utility.

Get your facts first, then you can distort them as you please.

Good points. Interviewers will immediately notice:

  • Does your suit fit you well, or do you look like Shawn Spicer in his first press conference? (same story for your shirt: collar that's neither too snug nor too loose, sleeves long enough to show a bit of cuff beyond your suit jacket.)
  • Are you wearing an appropriate color/pattern? For conservative finance, solid charcoal and navy are the best bets, don't wear black unless you're interviewing to be a limo driver, etc

Details like ticket pocket will likely go unnoticed.

Totally fine. You have good insticts to ask this question, because most suit fashion details are problematic. I've seen guys try to pull off 3 piece suits, 3 button suits, bold patterns, shiny suits, collar bars, contrast collars, bow ties and the list goes on and on. But this suit is good, just go for the traditional look (i.e. the guy in the pic you sent) and you won't have problems.
