Women's manicure for office?

Incoming FO finance intern (girl) at BB. What would be an appropriate manicure for the office? I know not to have long nails/claws or anything glittery, but was wondering what colors would be ok. Clear or pale pink I know should be fine, but would red with no decorations/nail art be too much? Something about red nails gives me a little boost in confidence, bit more so than a French manicure. What colors do you see around the office?

are overgrown nails acceptable (like kept short but the new nail overgrowth without polish is visible)? askig coz i do nails every once a month at a salon and don't want to have to go so frequently coz of time and money.

Depends on whether its super noticeable. If not, I guess its fine but if its very visible then people might notice

That’s ratchet chief. Whenever I see girls with overgrown painted nails I automatically think they are dirty. Obviously it’s a range of overgrown but if it’s noticeable from a distance then yea fix that.

For the office, keeping it polished is key, but a pop of color can really boost your confidence. I think clear or pale pinks are always safe bets, and red can definitely work as long as it’s a classic shade and not too flashy. I went to one of the nail salons in Mequon before a big job interview, and I chose a deep red. It felt empowering without being over the top.

IMO, a lot of people at the office have neutral tones, but I’ve also seen some sporting subtle reds. If red gives you that extra confidence, go for it! Just keep the nails well-shaped and neat, and you'll feel great.
