Asia forum

Can we set up a separate forum for ibanking in Asia?

It's a totally different competitive landscape in Asia. The prestige, exit ops, lifestyle of each bank/group are different from in the states. And it seems to me that more people on this forum are interested in ibanking in Asia.

As far as I can tell, we need a separate forum for Hong Kong/China banking, yet another one for singapore (or southeast asia in general) and another one for Japan.

bigbonustoday -- the powers that be on this site are making a concerted effort to maintain fewer forums rather than more. Currently the website is organized into different forums by function rather than by location. While you're correct, ibanking in Asia is different from ibanking in other parts of the world, I don't think the difference is significant enough to warrant an entirely different forums. Take a look at prior conversations regarding additional forums for more info.

I think a good way to go about doing what bigbonustoday wants to do is to create a group for those interested in banking in asia. A new forum section may be too much.

Warhead and CB are both right. We probably won't even get a CorpFin forum (which is a lot bigger difference than between I-banking US/Euro and Asia).
