Industry + Status Icons

In case any of you had not noticed, we have now included a small icon next to each username in the forums and blogs that allow you to quickly identify what industry that user is in (or is targeting) and what level they are (prospective vs. 1st year associate, etc.). For a key of what each of the icons mean, see here: http://www.wallstreetoasis.com/page/user-industry… (we finally got the hedge fund icon working properly).

If you haven't selected an industry and level, please click on the My Account link int he upper right hand corner and then click on "Monkey Stats". Once there you will see an industry selection drop down as well as status drop down. When you've selected the appropriate industry and status, a small icon should start appearing next to your username in the forums within a few hours.

This should make it much easier to identify where each user is coming from without having to go to their profile page.

Thanks to captk and Compbanker for their great suggestion.

We are always still accepting e-mails to certify more users that work in the industry. To read how to get certified and see if you qualify, please read this: http://www.wallstreetoasis.com/certified-users

Thanks guys...we are in the process now of improving the layout of Groups, Profile pages, allowing users to filter the job table (by industry, keyword and/or zip code) and more...

Stay tuned, Patrick
