Who is Going to The WSO Conference?

I haven't seen a master list regarding any confirmed attendees so I thought up this thread. If this kind of topic is against site rules I apologize in advance. Personally, I am interested in knowing which of our fellow monkeys will be there because lots of people on this site do have a lot of things to share...it seems.

This could be a good way to get more people to go if they see certain people who provide good insight will be attending. Also, for many of our non-targets like myself this could influence them to make the jump knowing others like them will be there as well.

With that said I (Chris) will be attending.

I will be attending. I am already humbled by the oppurtunity to meet or simply listen to some of the users on this site. My gut told me that this conference could change my life on a quite a few levels, so even though I am seriously nervous about being in the mere presence of some of these said "Super Users", I know that I bought my Early MonkeyBird ticket for a reason and that I must attend.

As an ultra-non-target monkey, I would like to urge anyone who is on the fence to "make the jump", as That_Aston said- take my word, your stats beat mine lol. Just come!

"That dude is so haole, he don't even have any breath left."

Where in CT are you located/Do you go to school here?

Here to learn and hopefully pass on some knowledge as well. SB if I helped.

no need to be nervous...all the guys I've met from WSO are pretty chill and very friendly. A lot of them love giving solid advice (as you can see from the forums).

looking great. It's good we moved venues early on because at 200+, we'd already have sold out by now...my Event Guru team says you "usually sell 1/2 the tickets the last 2 weeks before the conference"...and I can say that we are seeing an acceleration.

Some big announcements and another Conference Newsletter going out today as well, so expect the Discounted tickets to sell out in the next few days (or less).

Getting excited!

Obviously premature but assuming this is a success, will you guys aim to make it bigger next year?

Yes, we're excited to become the best and largest conference for young finance professionals as well as students trying to break in. We think there is a lot of value bringing top young finance professionals together and allowing motivated students to interact with them and watch some interesting panels.
