They are a pretty small firm based in the DC/MD area and I think they have done some recruiting through Glocap. One of the guys was hired straight out of undergrad from an ivy and I think everyone else is a bit older. The team seems to be pretty good, and seemed to be more interested in the qualitative side than the mechanical or modeling side (at least for the more equity research-oriented tasks). Curiously, I don't know that they are that impressed by the "rigors" of the financial modeling and training through investment banking programs, because I don't think many of their team (if any) came from analyst/associate programs -- they seem to put more of an emphasis on things like business and financial intuition, if that makes sense. It is a fundamentally-driven shop but I have no idea what their approach to trading is.
