AN1 at a BB Looking for Advice
Hi all,
Currently an AN1 in a very strong group at a top BB and I also went to a target school (cringed while typing that but trying to establish context). Skipped on-cycle PE recruiting because I’m truly interested in public markets investing, please don’t try to convince me to do PE, not the advice I’m looking for. I want to exit to a value-oriented SM HF at the 1-year mark.
I was wondering if anyone on this thread had experience with SM HF recruiting from a BB and could give advice on when the process tends to start (have been told around 1 year mark), what helps candidates stick out, and what I should be doing to network/prepare in the mean time. Similarly, curious on what HH shops are particularly focused on SM HFs. Have heard DSP is a big one anecdotally. Any other general advice would be very appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
