Any insight on BlackRock Alternative Investment Solutions

Does anyone have any insight on BLK's Alternative Investment Solutions Group inside its broader Alternatives practice. I don't really see these guys in the market and BLK is such a behemoth place that I find it difficult to actually get any real intel on them. Can anyone speak to the leadership there and what kind of deals they mostly do (beyond what is described publicly)?
