in terms of my end goal, I want to work in HF and generally ik many candidates follow some sort of profile:
HYPSM + Columbia + Top LACs + Wharton summa cum laude Top IB/PE shop HF
Would recruiting for VC (at Battery, Thrive, GC for places my school has alums/structured programs) and becoming an investor then lateraling to an HR be another way to be recruited at these top shops?
