Buy side Latin America
Hi, I am looking to interview in buy side firms in Latin america - not Brazil, since i am targeting spanish speaking countries. I'm having a hard time finding hf, asset managers, etc, since everything I find seems to be in brazil. Any suggestions?

ib partners in chile, filigrana group in Colombia, I knew another ones but I dont remember right now.
ib partners is investment banking, they merged with a consulting firm and are doing some pe.
the only hf in chile right now is moneda Asset Management. they manage around 2B, i'd look at insurance companies, retail and investment banks and pension funds if i was looking for a job in chile. there are about 50 or so small trading firms but they only hire people with close links. the local market is very centered on the local elite with a lot of insider trading. If you can't get tips you can't get the job.
there are some big north american and european pe funds that invest in chile: Eton Park, Qantek, Ontario Teachers PP, AXA CP...
