Chance of Becoming a Quant

Hi all,

I am a current junior computer science major with a 3.65 GPA at a top 20 university and will be interning in the technology division of a bulge bracket bank this summer.  I'll mainly be building software infrastructure as opposed to doing work that involves financial knowledge. Previously, I was broadly interested in all tech roles, but I'm starting to lean towards quantitative finance.  Given my background, would it be possible for me to make the transition to quant during recruiting my senior year?  If so, what steps should I take?

Thanks in advance for any insights.
