Comp expectations / negotiation on HF analyst opportunity?

Hey, curious to hear others' thoughts here. I've had a couple of rounds of interviews at a fundamental value investing HF in NYC around 7B in AUM for an analyst role. I had a great call with the PM and he mentioned that if my conversation with the next PM goes well to expect a discussion of comp.

I don't really know what to expect in terms of the initial offer and I wouldn't want to be lowballed.

I'm curious what I could expect as a "market" initial offer and if they would be expecting any kind of negotiation.

Thanks!
