D.E. Shaw: Background and Reference Check = Good sign?
Hey guys,
Longtime lurker here. I've recently had a superday with D.E. Shaw and was asked soon after to provide references and agree to a background check. Does anyone here with experience with D.E. Shaw's background check process know if this is a good sign/potential offer? Or does D.E. Shaw happen to do this with many of their top candidates anyway?
I know there's always a chance to be rejected, but I am trying to measure my chances of success in planning how many other internships to apply to. Any comments would be appreciated!
Many thanks!
I can't imagine it's a bad sign. Good luck!
