D.E Shaw Generalist Internship Interview
Hi,
I am a junior at an HYPSM school studying a quantitative (non-finance/econ) field. I have a phone interview coming up with D.E Shaw for their generalist internship. Has anyone interviewed for or worked in this position before? What was it like? Any other tips? (I've only done a couple of interviews ever!)
Thanks!
Still wondering if anyone knows anything about this.
I heard it's a ton of brain teasers, calculating probabilities on the fly, etc.
I think the brain teasers are for quantier roles. The generalist position is more back/middle office. They just asked me to walk through my resume and asked a couple of fit questions. I think it went well.

Anyone ever worked here before? What exactly do they do? Thanks
They don't hire that position right now.
