Got rejected before the week even happened, weird firm.
i just wanna let y'all know that if you haven't heard back from DE Shaw in 24 - 48hrs following your interview, you probably didnt get next round. DE Shaw likes to ghost people first and reject them a lot later which I think is so whack. Wish someone would've told me that so i didnt waste my time worrying about it. Hope this helps :)
I heard back about a superday 2 weeks after the case study for the research position
honestly theres a 99% chance that you were dinged. When i moved forward i found out minutes after my interview. sometimes it can be hours but def not days. the recruiters responded to my questions in minutes when i went thru the process. it wasn't until i got rejected that it was radio silent for days before getting the generic rejection letter. the recruiter never even responded to my email. really rubbed me the wrong way :/
I can confirm that I did receive an offer for FR. I'm happy to answer any questions!
