"alonzoslade45" Why don't debt collectors like going to court? Let's say you owe 50,000 in medical debt. Why do debt collectors hate going to court over it?

Is this another brain teaser?

 

I don't think they have legal obligation/right to collect it after it's purchased from the original company? Also guessing at some point they said something misleading or illegal to you trying to collect the debt that could get you off in court, or the judge may decide since you can only afford $1000 total repayment that is what the debt collector must accept?
